On November 3rd, the Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Laboratory officially began technical cooperation with Han’s Laser Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd. As a leading enterprise in laser equipment manufacturing, Han’s Laser’s cooperation with the laboratory this time reflects the deep integration of academic research and industrial applications.

Han’s Laser Technology Industry Group is a globally leading laser equipment manufacturing enterprise with deep technical accumulation and extensive market applications in fields such as laser cutting, welding, and marking. This cooperation project focuses on intelligent monitoring and optimization of laser manufacturing processes, aiming to improve the precision and efficiency of laser manufacturing through artificial intelligence technology.

As an important component of the cooperation project, Zhu Yizhang, a master’s student from the laboratory, was dispatched to Jilin to provide on-site technical guidance. Zhu Yizhang will combine the laboratory’s research achievements in industrial artificial intelligence to provide technical support for Han’s Laser’s production line intelligent transformation.

Zhu Yizhang’s trip to Jilin to provide technical guidance is not only an important practice of the laboratory’s industry-academia-research cooperation but also a valuable opportunity for students to transform theoretical knowledge into practical applications. By diving into the production front line of enterprises, Zhu Yizhang can better understand the actual needs of industrial sites, providing important references for subsequent research work.

This cooperation project covers multiple technical directions including laser manufacturing process monitoring, quality prediction, and equipment health management. The laboratory will leverage its technical advantages in multimodal data fusion and time-series prediction models to provide customized smart manufacturing solutions for Han’s Laser.

The cooperation between Han’s Laser and the Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Laboratory not only helps promote the intelligent upgrading of laser manufacturing technology but also provides rare enterprise practice opportunities for laboratory students. By participating in real industrial projects, students can verify and improve theoretical knowledge in practical applications and enhance their ability to solve practical problems.

The successful launch of this cooperation further validates the advantages and strength of the Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Laboratory in combining industry, academia, and research. In the future, the laboratory will continue to expand cooperation relationships with more excellent enterprises, creating more practical opportunities for students and promoting the industrial application of more research achievements.
