On September 20th, exciting news arrived! Professor Feng Jianshe, head of the AI Cube Laboratory, jointly with Guangzhou Wentian Information Technology Co., Ltd., won the Guangdong Province Industrial Software Science and Technology Invention Award Third Prize for the “Urban Intelligent IoT Comprehensive Management Platform” project. This award is issued by the Guangdong Province Industrial Software Society and is one of the highest honors in Guangdong Province’s industrial software field.

The Guangdong Province Industrial Software Science and Technology Award is the most authoritative award in Guangdong Province’s industrial software field, aiming to recognize units and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in industrial software technology innovation and industrial application. The award selection criteria are extremely strict, requiring multiple rounds including expert review and on-site defense. Two undergraduate teams from AI Cube Lab won Second Prize in the Guangdong regional round of the 2026 China Collegiate Computer Design Contest's Artificial Intelligence Application track. The project 'High-Dimensional Time-Series Multi-Agent Collaborative Perception and Defect Diagnosis for FDM Printing' was recommended for the national finals, while 'Domestic PLC Large Model Edge Inference and Full-Stack Intelligent Control for Advanced Manufacturing' was one of only two award-winning entries from Sun Yat-sen University in the AI Practice competition category.
