On August 20th, the industrial big data competition jointly organized by Professor Feng Jianshe, head of the AI Cube Laboratory, Dr. Zhang Jianyu, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), and Shenzhen Bao’an District Government was officially launched. This competition has been successfully held for 4 years and has important influence in the field of industrial big data.

After 4 years of development, this industrial big data competition has become an important competition platform in the domestic industrial big data field. The competition attracts numerous enterprises, universities, and research institutes from across the country each year, with the number and quality of participating teams increasing year by year, fully demonstrating the competition’s professionalism and authority.

This competition is jointly organized by academic institutions, government departments, and research institutes, reflecting an important model of industry-academia-government collaborative innovation. CAICT, as a national-level research institution, has an important position in the fields of information communication and industrial internet. Bao’an District Government, as a representative of local government, provides important policy support and platform guarantees for the competition.

The industrial big data competition is not only a platform for technical exchange but also an important driver for promoting industrial development. Through the competition, enterprises can discover and cultivate excellent technical talents, while university teachers and students can combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications, achieving a win-win situation for all parties.

For AI Cube Laboratory students and students from other universities participating in the competition, such competitions provide an important platform to showcase talents and exercise capabilities. By participating in the competition, students can not only access real industrial problems but also establish direct connections with enterprises, creating opportunities for future internships and employment.

Dr. Zhang Jianyu’s participation further strengthens the laboratory’s role in competition organization, demonstrating the overall strength of the laboratory team. As the competition’s influence continues to expand, it is expected to provide practical opportunities for more students and promote the development and application of industrial big data technology.
