On September 7th, the Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Laboratory at Sun Yat-sen University’s School of Advanced Manufacturing reached a new development milestone as Dr. Qi Fanyu and Master Gao Peng officially enrolled, becoming new members of the laboratory family. The addition of these two excellent scholars further strengthened the laboratory’s research team and injected new academic vitality into the laboratory’s in-depth research in the field of industrial artificial intelligence.

Dr. Qi Fanyu previously demonstrated outstanding performance at Peking University’s Data Science Summer Camp, earning the “Excellent Camper” title with only a 10% selection rate, fully showcasing his solid foundation and research potential in the field of data science. His professional background highly aligns with the laboratory’s research focus in areas such as industrial big data and multimodal time-series large models, and he is expected to play an important role in the laboratory’s research work.

Master Gao Peng, as a newly enrolled graduate student, demonstrates good academic literacy and strong research interest.
