Biography
Dr. Jianshe Feng is an Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor at Sun Yat-sen University's School of Advanced Manufacturing, and has been selected as a Shenzhen Overseas High-Level Talent ("Peacock Plan" Talent). His main research areas include industrial artificial intelligence, precision manufacturing process monitoring and optimization, intelligent operations and maintenance of high-end equipment, multimodal time-series large models, and industrial big data. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer of Xinrun Fulian Digital Technology, Head of Industrial AI Products at Foxconn Industrial Internet, and Research Scientist at General Motors, USA. In recent years, he has led multiple smart manufacturing projects for companies including Xiaomi Auto, CITIC Group, Foxconn Technology Group, General Motors USA, Applied Materials USA, Eaton Electric, and Shanghai Electric, involving fields such as semiconductor manufacturing, new energy, and automotive industry, maintaining long-term industry-academia-research cooperation and technology transfer. He has published over 30 academic papers in related fields such as industrial artificial intelligence, manufacturing process monitoring and optimization, and predictive maintenance, and has applied for over 100 Chinese and foreign invention patents. He has been awarded CITIC Group's "Science and Technology Special Award", Deep Learning Technology and Application National Engineering Research Center's "Industrial Application Innovation Award", PHM Society's Best Doctoral Dissertation Nomination, Guangdong Province Industrial Software Third Prize, etc. Related achievements have been reported by multiple media outlets including Southern Metropolis Daily, China Industry News, and Baidu AI, receiving widespread attention from the industry. The research group has sufficient funding. We welcome excellent students majoring in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, automation, and related fields to apply for master's and doctoral programs, and welcome active undergraduates to participate in team work. Together, we explore how industrial intelligence and advanced manufacturing collide and integrate, receive systematic training in Education & Practice, understand the symbiotic relationship between Science & Engineering, and improve comprehensive capabilities in Research & Application.
