On November 19th, leaders from Xiaomi Group’s Technology Committee visited the Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Laboratory for an exchange visit. This visit further deepened the cooperation between both parties and laid a more solid foundation for the long-term strategic cooperation between the laboratory and Xiaomi Group.

As the core decision-making body for Xiaomi’s technological development, the Technology Committee’s special visit fully demonstrated Xiaomi’s high regard for cooperation with the Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Laboratory. During the visit, both parties conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation prospects in cutting-edge technology fields such as industrial artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and multimodal time-series large models.

During the laboratory tour, Professor Feng Jianshe detailed the laboratory’s research directions, technical advantages, and latest achievements. The Technology Committee leaders highly praised the laboratory’s research strength and industrial application capabilities in the field of industrial artificial intelligence, expressing hope to further strengthen cooperation in areas such as technology research and development and talent cultivation.

During the discussions, Xiaomi specifically expressed hope that Professor Feng Jianshe could recommend more excellent students for internships and employment at Xiaomi. This statement not only reflects Xiaomi’s recognition of the laboratory’s talent cultivation quality but also provides broader career development opportunities for laboratory students.

Both parties agreed that industry-academia-research cooperation should be further deepened, achieving complementary advantages and mutual development through joint project research and development, talent exchange, and cultivation. Xiaomi Group will provide more internship positions and employment opportunities for laboratory students, while the laboratory will provide more academic support for Xiaomi’s technological innovation.
