The AI Cube Laboratory successfully held its inaugural "AI Cube Artificial Intelligence Challenge" from November 1–3, 2025. The competition was designed to stimulate enthusiasm for Python programming and foundational AI knowledge among all laboratory members through a "learning-by-competing" approach, showcasing the solid algorithmic foundations and outstanding innovative potential of participants, and injecting new vitality into the team's in-depth research in AI.

First-year undergraduates Li Wenfei, Xie Ying, Lin Yule, and Wang Ziming, guided by the Advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Laboratory, performed excellently in the 2025 Intelligent Precision Assembly Competition, winning the Guangdong Province Third Prize, demonstrating freshmen's learning abilities and innovation potential.
